I recently installed Xubuntu 6.06 and am wanting to use cheops-ng in order to map the network at my workplace.  I was able to use apt-get to download and install it, but now I get the following error when I try to run it from the the CLI (cheops-ng &):
<br>Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library<br>Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:<br><br>I've attempted dpkg-reconfigure -plow locales, but it didn't help the situation.<br><br>I also used apt-get to install gnome.  Could this be the issue?  Xfce and Gnome causing some errors somewhere?
