I like seeing these pi$$in' contests when someone comes up with a competing idea. It means that change is happening (even though that change is being fought). I guess what I'm hearing from the status quo side of this is "Our way is better, so come over to our side. However, even if you have a great idea, it should be attached to what we are doing so we can control it. If we cannot control it then we won't have anything to do with it."
