That won't work for me. I need something like kalarm that I can schedule both information dialogs and programs to launch at a specific time. Kalarm launches a shell script that wakes me at 6 AM to the music of Rimsky Korsakov, and at 6 PM reminds me to take my medicine. Zenity is close to what I need, but has no scheduling component, and no way to launch programs from it ..
