I tried the workaround, which is to type : <font color="#ff0000"><tt>sudo
modprobe -r ehci_hcd</tt></font> and it worked.<br>

Now... this post on the forum dates back to Nov 2005. Shouldn't it have
been identified as a bug and fixed?<br>
