As of Tues I had 2200 emails in my spamassassin folder waiting to be processed. You can see evidence of this queue problem at <A HREF="http://westcom.no-ip.info/munin">http://westcom.no-ip.info/munin</A> (select postfix) I've reinstalled spamassassin by not postfix (don't want to break all mail) and it didn't fix the problem. As a work around I've since written the following script which is "cron"d every 30 mins #!/bin/sh /etc/init.d/fetchmail stop /etc/init.d/postfix stop /etc/init.d/spamassassin restart /etc/init.d/postfix start /etc/init.d/fetchmail start This means mail is both scanned and delivered so that's ok. Obviously this puts significant overhead on the system and is not a long term solution.
