I have just completed installing a v.5.04 for intel x86 on a vintage laptop ( Toshiba 4000cdt) Pent 2.<br>

Ma probs is that wen installing it didnt ask me for root passwd it just
asked for a user account details which i supplied. But after that i
wanted to do some tweaking on ma VGA coz the screean has grown tiny.<br>

I got them CDs from a friend, he is as novice as me on this.<br>
