I have also had this problem. I will give this a try. Another problem I have been having with my iPod Shuffle (using Breezy and gnupod 0.98-3): I have had an instance using gnupod, where after adding the mp3s and issuing the mktunes command, I unmount the iPod, however I was unable to play anything. After trying to delete the songs and reinstall them, still could not play them. I then did a clean install of Apple's iPod software (on a Mac) and then tried again, using gnupod as instructed in the manual. The first time I tried, it was successful and played the mp3s fine. However, later after deleting old mp3s and adding new mp3s, I again was not able to play anything. I anyone else having this problem?
