I'm using PuTTY to connect to my ubuntu 5.10 (breezy) box and when I
compile I get characters in the output, almost like its supposed to be
colored.<br>

Like this, adds an â around the error<br>
mc.c:3442: error: âwordâ undeclared (first use in this function)<br>

Anyone know how to turn this off or fix it?<br>
