Hi all,
I've spent the last two days on searching for helvetica fonts on breezy.
Can't find it.
I've installed all the TTF that are available in universe and
multiverse, no helvetica.
I know that there is a proprietary issue with this font, do I need to
manually download and install helvetica font ? Why is it available on my
hoary machine and not on my breezy one ?
Thanx for helping, I'm out of ressources.

As far as I know, "Helvetica" is a propriety font (owned by Adobe?).
But that's not the problem! The problem is that there isn't a TrueType
version of that font available for X (only a "Type 1" for printing).
If you really need that font badly for your X (not for printing, as it's
available already), either install "msttcorefonts" which includes the
"Arial" font (which is very similar to "Helvetica" in shape and
characteristic), or run "sudo dpkg-reconfigure fontconfig" and check
"Enable bitmapped fonts by default?".

That didn't do it. Maybe it's gnucash related problem. I can't find any
thread or help on that on the gnucash mailing list/site. But why is it
running fine on hoary and not on Breezy ? That's why I think it's
distro related.
Anyway thanx a lot for helping. I really appreciate it.
