I have noticed that incomplete downloads of package files are not resumed in Ubuntu. I am used to synaptic in other distributions resuming, and I assume being smart about it. Is there something I can do to reconfigure this? With an intermittent and severely challenged Internet infrastructure, it would be very helpful. Alan Davis
