I've trying k3b for the first time, with no joy.<br>
When I start k3b as root, I get a number of messages:<br>

I have no idea what any of these mean, or why authentication would be needed,<br>
or what ICE is.  I presume the KGenericFactory error is an artifact of the earlier<br>
ones, but I'm not even sure of that.<br>
