If it's not, I'd like to know if hal is still up and running. Have you tried inserting anything like USB key to see if that's recognized? Also, check on your camera, which I don't know what you have, but if it's a newer camera it may be in "pictbridge" mode. I can't ever get that to work on Linux. I change the mass media setting on my camera to USB storage, and I never have a problem. So, if your camera is trying to connect over USB using any protocol OTHER than PTP or USB Mass Storage, change it to one of those and try your luck. And, last but not least, I would recommend gnome-photo-printer for printing. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to come with a .desktop file, so after you install it you'll need to add it to the menu with smeg. --andy</div></div>
