Plzzzzzz help me out… Hello everybody !!! Finally I installed our ubuntu linux on the place of RedHat Enterprise Edition which was too slow .So its obvious that I may be wondering about a lot of packages that I am not finding on my ubuntu system(or may be required to upgrade to...) .Plz help me out of few of my queries 1)in order to install my internal modem (Smart Link)I need the entire kernel source tree .It has been mentioned that only kernel headers wont be sufficient,So what should I do for installing the same.Is Ubuntu not available on 2.4 kernel. 2)Whenever I try to compile the kernel modules(written by me...) or try to install any driver I get the following messages a)clock skew detected b)your build may be incomplete c).config (and a few other names) modification time 1e+o8 s in the future.
