i want to install apache cocoon.<br>
but to do that it is neccesary to compile it.<br>
problem is it wants me to set the JAVA_HOME enviorment.<br>
the install doc told me to do this.<br>
JAVA_HOME=/path/to/java<br>

and since i installed java in /sr/java i did this.<br>
JAVA_HOME=/usr/java<br>

but it still does not work.<br>

in your JAVA_HOME directory?<br>
<br>
the jdk or jre directory is the one you want to use for your JAVA_HOME
