I'm having trouble getting VMWare to boot from my dvdrom.  I've searched<br>the list but didn't see anyone having the same problem.  I have tried<br>fiddling with the legacy checkbox.<br></blockquote></div><br>Another thing to investigate is the device name.  I had to change mine to /dev/hdc manually, I believe.
