Too late ! ;o) I have just ran checkinstall and it seemed to work fine (could find the package in Synaptic !! :o)<BR>

Will try and remember about 'make uninstall' next time I forget about checkinstall....<BR>

Anyway, Ubuntu rocks... great Gnome apps, easy to compile... easy to put in Synaptic.. lovely ! :-)<BR>
