<DIV><SPAN class=890335902-08102004><FONT face=Arial size=2>Any chance of having
Ubuntu work with the new Pentium M "Dothan" processors fully out of the
box? I ordered an IBM Thinkpad T42 recently, and I know people have gotten
Debian Sarge working on it, but have needed to do a lot of patching (for the
Synaptics touchpad driver support too). I REALLY would prefer to use
Ubuntu, since it won't load me down with all the KDE junk I don't want, and X
configuration during install actually WORKS (The latest Sarge...I dunno, 2
machines, 12 different settings attempts, they all end up at 800x600 with the
framebuffer driver...)</FONT></SPAN></DIV></BODY></HTML>
