That definitely sweetens the pudding.
All my printers are running on armbian which once I straightened out the
ntp stuff, just works from power failure to power failure. That doesn't
seem to need realtime even when running at 10x the original speeds. Two
huge improvements to those, carbon fiber custom made parts for flying
weight stuffs, and 72 volt stepper/servo motors for XY. Speed limit is
how fast a 60 watt heater can melt plastic. I'm also using lower
voltage stepper/servo's at critical locations in my cnc stuff. Much
faster and more precise than normal steppers. The bananapi-m5 is as fast
as an rpi4b, but all 4 usb ports are usb3.0. That has allowed me to
build an 11Tb raid6 I'm in the process of making a backup server out
of. I need some bacula configuration docs though.
What it take to become a member? I've been subbed to this list for
years. Lurking mostly.
