Chromium etc prompts me for a password every time I log in

Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS

When I log into Gnome, if I run Chromium, Google-chrome, or Protonvpn, I
am prompted for a password for the key ring. I don't want to do away
with the password as it is necessary to encrypt the passwords in the key
ring. But is there a way to make it use the login password so it doesn't
prompt every time? or maybe a hash of the login password?
