Odd update problem in Ubuntu 24.04.1

Hi,

For the last several days i've been getting an update message to update xdiagnose. The update also shows ceph distributed file system client library & 'system components.' Every time i go ahead & run it, it seems like its downloading & installing the update then i get 'Package Operation Failed. Installation or removal of software package failed.' No idea what to do but it comes up frequently & always fails. My system is running fine otherwise.

FYI, i upgraded to 24.04.1 on 1 September from 22.04 pretty much as soon as the LTS upgrade was offered. i've read since that there were some problems early on & i did have some issues initially with the upgrade but all seemed to work out over a couple of days.

Any comments or advice would be appreciated.
