T420 ThinkPad RAM upgrade compatibility question?

When I've upgraded my laptop's RAM, I have taken the EXACT model number of
it and searched the web for that number and the word "Arbeitsspeicher". The
latter word would probably be "RAM" for English speakers.

I was lucky, since the exact number (or code) was written on the laptop. The
search yielded a hand full of vendors of the needed RAM modules.
