convert an image in a Libre office .ODT file to a .JPG file

Hi,

I can indirectly do the conversion by ...

1. Opening the .ODT file and putting the desired image on the screen.

2. taking a screenshot and save it as a .JPG

3 Using GIMP to crop the screenshot to crop the image and EXPORT the 
image to the desired file.

This method works and I have used it many times but is there an easier 
way to do this?
