After clicking print and processing pages.. it just stops

I have a report to print - 209 pages. At 153 it stopped. No reason. 
Toner is fine, no message on the printer .. also no data going to the 
printer.
After trying several things I finally rebooted computer and printer.
Print a test page - prints find. Open my pdf print 153 to end .. the 
printer
screen says active print job is processing and after about 23 pages the
screen goes blank, the printer receiving data screen goes blank and I
nothing prints. Ive tried just printing 153 to 161.. will not print. It 
will print
 from other documents - but they are all shorter. 

Open to suggestions.

Im on Kubuntu 24.04 with a Brother 9340 laser printer.
