Hello.
This is not what you are seeking, but, I am wondering why you would be
running the "Old Intel FORTRAN", on a Ubuntu Linux system, rather than
the versions of FORTRAN that are available in the Ubuntu repositories,
which apparently, in searching on the search term fortran in synaptic,
show that compilers and preprocessors, and, other associated packages,
are apparently available, for versions of FORTRAN from FORTRAN-77 to
FORTRAN-95.
The last that I used or programmed in FORTRAN, after having started with
FORTRAN-4, was when FORTRAN-77 was the standard, and, a new, whizzbang
standard, named FORTRAN-90, was pending, with enhancements like
pointers, and, unlimited precision, as opposed to the quadruple
precision (8-byte, from memory), that was available in VAX-11 FORTRAN.
I still have my Microsoft FORTRAN 4.1, in its box (not unopened and not
unused), that I bought with my first computer that I bought - my PC-XT
equivalent (it has an NEC V-22 CPU, rather than an Intel 8086 CPU), and,
I have not used it, for decades, now.
