Can't install emacs on freshly installed? ubuntu-24.04.1-live-server-amd64.iso

Really strange things are going on here.

On the system I installed yesterday, I ran today:

  # apt update && apt upgrade && apt full-upgrade && apt install emacs

and everything was good.

Then I did a new, complete fresh install. Then I did:

  # apt update && apt upgrade && apt full-upgrade && apt install emacs

and got exactly the same error as yesterday.

Any explanation on this?
