I'm NOT sugesting it is not trust worthy. It might be that the "defaults" are
sensible 99% of the time. *Sometimes* there are edge cases where one needs
option settings that are outside of the defaults. This *might* be such a
case. I don't know what options are available for FAT32 for a 400+ Gig file
system. And it might not even be sensible to format such a large FS as FAT32.
Maybe NTFS might actually be better (if one must have a MS-Windows compatible
file system).
My point is that CLI tools tend to be more flexible and expose more options.
Sometimes that is useful, helpful, or even necessary.
