Strange GUI bug in 22.04

I'm running a pretty vanilla Ubuntu 22.04, and Firefox has a tendency to 
"hide" behind the laft-hand menu with icons:



You can see it clearly in the upper left corner. Anyone else experienced 
this and maybe know how to fix it?
