Hi,

I'm in no way a Linux Mint expert!

It might be possible that Claws-Mail 4.1.1 is from flathub and it might
be that the original user has got a 6.5+ hwe kernel installed. If so,
it's _not_ a hybrid of two different Ubuntu/Mint releases. If so, Claws-
mail is a flatpak, IOW something similar to snap and the kernel is from
official repositories for that particular release, it's not from
repositories for another release.

However, I don't know if it is like that. It's just a guess based on a
lack of information, as a counter-suggestion to your assumptions.

As high priest, ruler of the universe and expert on everything except
Linux Mint, I have already advised you to send a request to
https://linuxmint.com/contactus.php .

Regards,
Ralf
