Scary reboot (no harm done)

Hi,
I've just rebooted my lenovo T240 ThinkPad laptop. The mouse pointer would
not move and the SSD activity light came on full. Eventually, after a
while, I got to login and type this email.
I ran systemd-analyze blame and got this output as the first line:-
4.269s dev-sda5.device
1. Would like to know what the "dev-sda5.device" target does.
2. Would like to know, in general, about how to get info on a target.
(Ihave Googled for it, no luck).
sda is my internal SSD, partition 5 is my root partition.
TIA,
Ian
