Hello all,

when using luks, ubuntu stores entries like

  /dev/disk/by-id/dm-uuid-CRYPT-LUKS2-e94c832beb0d401a8579fca54c6ea6ce-cr-m

into /etc/fstab and entires like

  UUID=58f43717-7e2d-4c08-b69a-12a0212c515f

into crypttab.

Unforunately, crypttab does not accept this new format. What is the point of
this new mapping? What is wrong with using regular UUIDs in fstab?

How can this new mapping derived from the old UUID?
