Well said, but it doesn't change the fact that this is OT for this
email list - we don't support yt-dlp.
It is unfortunate that you feel this way. I never use github and I
have an account, and I manage my passwords myself.
It is possible to work with this stuff. Not always (or ever?)
convenient, but possible.
