Why can I not install Chrome?

My mother has enabled her Netflix account for me, and I found out that
people who use Firefox are not considered hip enough to watch Netflix. They
go to lengths pointing this fact out with a picture of a CRT telie.

I'm watching Netflix only as a duty to my mother.
