On Linux Mint Mate v21.2, running Firefox for Linux Mint mint-001-1.0
122.0 (64-bit), with multiple Ad-blockers, including AdBlocker for
YouTube and Adblock Plus (which apparently also blocks ads on youtube)
and Bluhell Firewall and uBlock Origin (and others), I have no problem
in accessing youtube videos.

As the thread subject refers to Firefox .deb packages, whilst the Linux
Mint Firefox is not snapstuff, it is, apparently, flatpack (the IKEA
version of Firefox?), rather than a .deb package.

So, the blocking of youtube videos, may be something to do with the
individual system/platform/Firefox configuration of Wade Smart.

One possibility just occurred to me, while writing this - Wade Smart -
in your Firefox settings, under Browser Privacy -> Enhanced Tracking
Protection, which option do you have selected?

I have the Standard option selected, and, the Strict option has the note
that selecting that option, "may cause some sites or content to break".

Also, what video resolution do you try to access or download? If you try
1080p or higher resolution, apparently, those higher resolutions have
been deliberately made problematic by youtube.

And, if you are trying to download youtube videos, what method are you
trying to use to download them? I use the Firefox add-on named "Easy
Youtube Video Downloader", limiting the maximum resolution that I try to
download, to 720p.
