Not really, no.

You run it. You don't need to install it. You unzip it and run it, once.

It formats a USB key.

Then you can delete the download.

Now, copy your Windows ISO onto the big empty partition on the USB key.

Not write it, don't do anything to it. Copy it. Drag and drop, or
select and press Ctrl+C then go to the Ventoy drive and Ctrl+V.

Or

`cp win11.iso /media/saunders.nicholas/Ventoy/`

Or whatever you like.

Then boot from the key.

That's it.

You never ever need to go inside them and you should not.

If you have Windows and you want to make a Windows USB key, I
recommend Rufus. It's very _very_ slow but it's free and it works.
