It's been a while since I thought about it, IIRC

following instructions re the 340 bug

I added the repo after 18.04 LTS was upgraded to 20.04->22.04

The other (duel booted) OS I'm less clear as it has passed thru 19.04 all the 
way to 24.04 at some point did the same process
