Firefox behaving differently

Instead of doing Yahoo mail, I cleared cache and cookies, opened a
private window, and opened the https://www.yahoo.com page. I then
checked for cookies and there was a cookie listed for the Yahoo site,
so I'd say I'm seeing what you're seeing. I don't normally use
private windows for browsing or check my cookies (because I have
Firefox set to clear all history when closed), so I can't say whether
this is a behavioral change or not, but I hope this helps.
