"Wrong diagnostic page"

Hi

When I connect an external hard disk (spinning type), I get these messages
in the virtual console:

[49593.752867] ses 12:0:1: Wrong diagnostic page: asked for 1 got 8
[49593.752911] ses 12:0:1: Failed to get diagnostic page 0x1
[49593.752942] ses 12:0:1: Failed to bind enclosure -19

The numbers at the beginning differ (seems to be a time stamp), but
otherwise it's the same every time. Can anyone tell me what's up?
