in case I should be allowed to add a question, it would be the following
question.

Off-list a community member and I discussed an annoyance. A workaround
for this annoyance is to edit a files. To get rid of an annoyance
introduced to meld, the line "inline_tag.props.draw_spaces" of the file
sourceview.py has to be edited.

Is write access to the files in the container possible with root
privileges when running a user session, too or is there the need to
shutdown and edit the content of an app's container from another Linux
install only? Assuming the editor to edit the file and meld are
installed by a snap.
