Has gnumeric been abandoned by Ubuntu Linux

I don't know anything about Mint (clearly they can't be using ONLY the
Ubuntu 22.04 repostories) but the package exists in Ubuntu: I typed
"gnumeric ubuntu" into Google and the first hit was:

https://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=gnumeric

which shows it exists in all the release repos including jammy (22.04):

https://packages.ubuntu.com/jammy/gnumeric

Did you just try to install it?  Did it work?
