That's like discussions go today. I never mentioned to abuse the people
who make all the free stuff. This never was my point. I explained that
there are valid reasons for users to be upset and that proprietary
operating systems are not necessarily that evil as you claim. To
contribute to something free, doesn't release from responsibility. The
voluntary fire brigade also follows a standard. The professional fire
brigade is not the enemy of the voluntary fire brigade, on the contrary,
the voluntary fire brigade learns from them. We can expect the same from
developers of an FLOSS operating system or a Linux distribution.

Free, widely distributed software is not the same as a gratis beer or a
birthday present, but this (the birthday present) is exactly your
argument.
You twist my statements in a populist way.
If someone says that more money should flow into climate protection
instead of war, this is often twisted in Germany as if this statement
meant that they were pro-Putin.
Similar populism should be kept out of FLOSS.
