this has nothing to do with IPC ... you can not replace the linux
kernel on any systemd based OS anymore, it is simply not possible ...
you will have to write your own init system ... but then no ubuntu
package will work with it anymore since systemd is a hard dependency
for all of them, so you will have to create your own packaging format
too ...
if you want to run a minix kernel you can not do it on ubuntu ...
use gentoo or a derivative of devuan (which is debian without systemd)
or even linux from scratch as your base ...
