Okay, fair enough – That's worth knowing. I have put Mint onto quite a
few machines for friends but I don't run it routinely on any of my
own. Also not particularly fond of the MATE desktop: I find XFCE to be
more configural configurable. For example it handles a vertical task
bar much better than MATE.
