I just tried OpenShot3.1 seems good and I'm sure for more talented uses it has 
everthing they may need, but for me I found it really difficult to do a simple 
edit i.e.

I had a short vid of a group of local dogs playing, during the "take" one found 
the cameraman more fun than the pack, so there were a couple of sections where 
the camera was moving about with a very large dog in the lens, I hoped that I 
could mark the start & end of these bits and "Snip" them out...

it seems not that easy?? 

I guess one (or more) or you will say it is?

I do still have Kdenlive to try
