downloading 32 bit libs to run bitpim on Ubuntu 16

Besides he cheap camera, I also have a flip phone that just
became obsolete on VZ network but I can't talk to it. If
I had something like bitpim and more specs I may be able
to play with camera or other features via Ubuntu.
bitpim seems to be a lot of python but needs
a lot of 32 bit libs apparently for graphics. I was able
to get the libstdc++ 32 bit but then it wanted more.
Is there some easy way to get these ( I can use apt-get download
and dpkg-deb to unpack them in an isolated location but
not sure I can get them from current repo).
Thanks.
