How to remove all the firefox (and other) cruft in /snap etc.?

Hi Chris,

I don't remember if there is a(n easy) solution to do this by running
the *buntu install, but a while back I suggested to shut down an *buntu
install and to boot a live *buntu, to mount the particular *buntu
install by the live *buntu and then to run "sudo rm -I
/path/to/snap/leftovers".
