As I mentioned in my last post of that thread, I believed that 
particular bug was fixed in version 1.18 of xdg-desktop-portal. At the 
time, I didn't have mantic installed to test whether it was true. 
However, I do have mantic installed now in a vm, and the issue appears 
to be fixed. At least, I wasn't able to recreate it as I can in 22.04.
