As an aside, that last paragraph is of particular interest to me; some 
years ago (I do not remember when), I bought a USB dongle to connect to 
a TV aerial, to try to get television on my PC's, and, whilst, through 
hypnotix, I have been able to get some weirdness in internet television, 
I never got the USB dongle to work with Linux, and so, gave up on it.

I will now have to try to find the USB TV dongle, and try to find 
whether I can get it to work with kaffeine on my 16.04.7 installation. I 
think I have kaffeine installed on it. If not, it is probably a bit late 
now; although, I could try the repository archives, if I do not.
