Printer install problem

WS=> I agree!  I also wonder if the problem is in the USB controller 
because the computer is quite old (but still powerful). I recently got a 
new computer which I plan to dual boot with Mint 21.2.  When I have 
everything working correctly, I plan to try with the new computer.  When 
I am done, I'll post the results.
