Don't worry about it. What could be better than the screaming of
swifts to brighten up the day? No sarcasm intended in case you are
wondering.
I have a friend who did that a couple of years ago. They didn't nest
the first year, but did come and check out the box. Then in the autumn
they came round again, and the next year (which was last year) they
bred successfully.
I have been thinking of trying it myself, but have left it too late
for this year.
