Or, whether I should wait until 23.04 is released, which, I expect, 
should occur in about four weeks.

I note that, through going through the GRUB command line procedure that 
is detailed in a web page from a link posted by Ian Bruntlett 
(https://www.linuxfoundation.org/blog/blog/classic-sysadmin-how-to-rescue-a-non-booting-grub-2-on-linux), 
each time I reboot the computer, Linux Mint 21.1 appears to load and run 
okay, so, I could probably get through until the release of 23.04, if 
that is needed.
